The Cambio Center mission directs it to share the research and best practices developed on campus and throughout the Midwest to support communities as they adapt to demographic changes. This outreach also includes providing several services to Missouri.
The annual Cambio de Colores Conference is the center's main outreach activity. The conference brings together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, students and others to exchange their work and create an interdisciplinary network that shares experiences and research on immigrant integration.
The conference proceedings are published to provide an ongoing resource to communities to see the development of best practices and the findings of the research being undertaken throughout the Midwest, South and US in new settlement areas. The proceedings are searchable in the Cambio Center Digital Library.
